To commemorate the centenary of the First World War and Votes for Women, we are challenging ourselves and – you – our visitors to knit a giant commemorative feature! Join us in the Knit and Knatter Workspace alongside Grans on the Make and simply knit a 4inch square section to help us create a 13ft double-sided feature. This will be pieced together over the year and revealed at The Creative Craft Shows flagship November NEC event! (1-4 November 2018). 1,568 sections of the poppy will represent the number of days of the war, the reverse reflects the suffragettes and Votes for Women. Participants can also provide a short story, memory or name to be displayed.
