A brand new and exciting exhibition of over 40 quilts from The Modern Quilt Group of the Quilters’ Guild of the British Isles – and you won’t believe what you see! Members were challenged to create optical illusions – expect 3D effects in two dimensions, transparency, impossible triangles or weaving illusions. Inspired by the works of M. C Escher and Bruno Ernst, members were encouraged to let their imaginations run riot, and they certainly have, in an array of kaleidoscope colours.
